A lot selfie spots, each location has different attractions, from its beautiful human-sized bird’s nest, swing, wooden teacups, the bow of a boat, wooden stars, tree houses, an Indonesian interpretation of the Eiffel Tower and much more.
∙ HANDARA GATE is actually the entrance to a golf resort. The traditional Hindu gate symbolises the entrance from the outer world to the temple, or in this case, golf course, and plays an important role in Indonesian culture, particularly in Bali.It's become a must-visit place among tourists and photography lover.
∙ ULUN DANU TEMPLE set within the highlands of the mountainous Bedugul Regency in Bali, atop a plateau that sits on Lake Beratan, stands the majestic Ulun Danu Temple. In the mild, mountain weather, approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, the air is crisp and cool. The stunningly clear lake is calm and almost perfectly still, save for the soft breeze that occasionally sweeps across, creating tiny ripples upon its surface.
∙ TANAH LOT, one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not to be missed icons.

∙ ANGEL BILABONG is a spectacular rock formation on Nusa Penida island's southwestern cliff edges. It's nearby Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide.
∙ BROKEN BEACH is a scenic coastal formation on the southwestern edge of Nusa Penida island. The spot is marked by a hilly arch-like rock formation, which is the distinguishable landmark of the area. Set over the crashing waves of the open Indian Ocean, Broken Beach is a great spot for travel photographers and panoramic view seekers.
∙ KELINGKING BEACH is a hidden beach in the village of Bunga Mekar, on the southwestern coast of Nusa Penida island. You can enjoy one of the most breath-taking views over the hills and small strip of white sand from atop a hill of the same name. The sight features a limestone headland covered in green, against the deep blue waters of the open Indian Ocean.

∙ LEMPUYANG TEMPLE or Pura Lempuyang Luhur is one of Bali’s oldest and most venerated temples, on par with Besakih (the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). The temple is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. A highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175 metres above sea level, on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. The entire landscape looks very picturesque from this temple gate, and that gate also known to the western world as "The Gates of Heaven".
∙ TIRTA GANGGA is one of the legacies of the Karangasem Kingdom. Built in 1948 by Raja Karangasem, Anak Agung Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. The purpose is to be built as a bathing place for the king and his family. Previously, only the king and his family could enter the Tirta Gangga Water Palace. Over time, the Tirta Gangga Water Palace began to be opened to the public. Upon entering the location of the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, the first thing you’ll see is two large ponds filled with ornamental fish the size of an adult's hand. Well, these pools are a favorite photo spot for visitors.
∙ VIRGIN BEACH, more so than the fact that it’s incredibly quiet, amazingly picturesque, and super convenient thanks to a number of local eateries along the coastline. It’s actually super special because snorkelling here may mean you get to see turtles in the wild! Swim out towards the rocks where the fish are plentiful and if you’re lucky you’ll come by some of the most majestic creatures in the world. Once you’ve had your fill of swimming, head back onto the mix of black volcanic sand and pristine white sand, and order a cold one to watch the sunset with.
